From Jeddah to Qiddiya: Senior Caterpillar Management Visits Altaaqa and Solution Valley (SEC) to Strengthen Strategic Collaboration

Altaaqa Alternative Solutions was honored to welcome senior Caterpillar management, led by Mr. Jason Hedge, Global Rental Power Director, to its Head Office at Zahid Business Park in Jeddah.This visit marked a significant milestone in the enduring partnership between Zahid and Caterpillar, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing energy solutions across Saudi Arabia.

During their time in Jeddah, the Caterpillar delegation toured Altaaqa’s main facility and the broader Zahid Business Park, gaining firsthand insight into the company’s operations, capabilities, and innovative approach to delivering integrated power and utility solutions.

Following the Jeddah visit, the team travelled to Riyadh to explore Solution Valley and meet with Mr. Basem Al Salloum, CEO of SV, and Mr. Sherif Aldaly, General Manager of Altaaqa. The itinerary also included several site visits, notably Qiddiya, where they witnessed Altaaqa’s pivotal role in powering one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious projects with a 50 MW solution supporting ongoing construction activities.

Discussions throughout the visit focused on strengthening strategic collaboration in the utility-scale power sector, with particular emphasis on opportunities in data centers, gas and turbine-based power generation, and the integration of advanced digital and remote monitoring technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
